I remember you saying a few months ago that he wasn't well, but hadn't heard anything since as we've been out of touch. It seems quite sudden and he can't have been very old.

I think you did so well being able to talk at the funeral without falling to pieces. I always admire ppl who can do that. *hugs*Gillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08684052302514385037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585199145085310155.post-46066323356937591222010-05-09T02:48:49.619+10:002010-05-09T02:48:49.619+10:00I'm so sorry about the loss of your Dad! And that you realized a strength which you didn't know you had ... well ... that says a lot about both you and your father! It's like you both gave each other a gift!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18323775808390175925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6585199145085310155.post-48276837657116753682010-05-05T10:33:56.317+10:002010-05-05T10:33:56.317+10:00well done Jayne :)

I know what you mean...I am so sorry for your loss.

I know what you mean about funerals. They're so sad, but there's good stuff there too. It's nice to share all the happy/funny memories about the person. And it's also a time to get see family and friends you don't get to see so often.

I'm glad you were able to do your speech so well. I would have been very nervous as well.

My thoughts are with you and your family.Dina Roberts https://www.blogger.com/profile/05558115658079175456noreply@blogger.com
