Hello! My name is Jayne. I started Gleeful when I was feeling glum to encourage myself to look for and celebrate the little joys in life. It's an exercise in mindfulness and gratitude - and it's worked pretty well. I do it without thinking now.

If my blog can brighten someone else's day or encourage them to start noticing the simple pleasures in their own lives, that will be the icing on a very tasty cake.
