Gleeful: Strange, but cool

I visited the arid gardens in the Botanic Gardens on my way home. Succulents and cacti are kinda weird, but interesting and great subjects for photos. Very sculptural and textured.

Hello! My name is Jayne. I started Gleeful when I was feeling glum to encourage myself to look for and celebrate the little joys in life. It's an exercise in mindfulness and gratitude - and it's worked pretty well. I do it without thinking now.

If my blog can brighten someone else's day or encourage them to start noticing the simple pleasures in their own lives, that will be the icing on a very tasty cake.
