Slowly growing...

That's my rubber band ball, with soy sauce fish for size comparison, which is fitting since my sushi habit has helped create it. If you don't know how big a sauce fish is, the ball is about the size of a grapefruit.

Anyway, I started the ball about three years ago. It's surprisingly and pleasingly bouncy.

Hi Jayne, Have you ever made sushi at home, I LOOOOOVE it, so fresh, with pickled ginger, Japanese Mayo and Soy sauce.
The first roll is a bit wobbly but you soon get the hang of it.
I cook the rice while I chop up all the ingredients and then it is so fast to put it together.Sometimes I do the whole "thing" and sit on the floor wearing a Yukata, must get some Sake to do it properly...Sayonara

I lurve sushi but my efforts never turn out right so I indulge in bought ones with the soy sauce fish and we must always have the green plastic wrapped wasabi!
We save the rubber bands, too lol.

We don't have soy sauce fish. I am deeply jealous.

Where do the rubber bands come in? We don't have rubber bands on our sushi either! What a rip off.
