On my way home from work...

Oooh, awesome cloudage!

Hey, look at the great close-up I took with my new camera! A hydrangea in the Royal Botanic Gardens

Turtle pootling away from the lake at the gardens.

I've never seen oriential lilies outside a floral arrangement before. The Botanic Gardens are ace.

Moody river scene from Princes Bridge.

Big silver beany street art seaty thing - with beads of rain - on Elizabeth Street.

These were actually taken on my way home Thursday, but I have had computer iss-yoos.

I love the bridge pic, all dark and moody.
The turtle was going away from the pond because when they are old enough to mate, turtles and frogs go away from where they grew up to find a mate as far away from their "relies" as they can wander.. strengthen the gene pool !

I love the first photo of the clouds... the dark part looks like a dragon spewing fire! :)

Hi Victoria. I hadn't seen that sculpture before and I love it too. It is similar to the bean chair. It's so simple and clean, and I love the contrast of its roundness compared with all the hard lines around it. And it's shiny!! Thanks for sharing.

Hello Abbeysmum. Yeah, I was pretty pleased with how that bridge photo - and a couple more I took then - turned out. I didn't know that about turtles and frogs, but of course it stands to reason. Don't know where the turtle thought he was going though - he was heading towards the fence.

Hi Emmy. Ya gotta love cloud creatures!
