Sunset and On The Radio

Pretty sunset tonight. I saw the clouds go from white to pink as I walked home. I don't know about you, but I never get sick of the view from the bridge over the Yarra River near where I live (aka "my bridge").

Gee, I like the song On The Radio by Regina Spektor, specifically this bit -

This is how it works
You're young until you're not
You love until you don't
You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry
You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe
Until their dying breath
No, this is how it works
You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
And try to love the things you took
And then you take that love you made
And stick it into some
Someone else's heart
Pumping someone else's blood
And walking arm in arm
You hope it don't get harmed
But even if it does
You'll just do it all again

Here's a live version.

Yay! Friday! How's your week been?

I like Regina Specktor. She has some great stuff. One of my favorites is the song: "Samson"

Yes, Samson is a beautiful song. My favourite on the album. Jayne do you have the album? Everything on it is great.

Hello ladies. I do have the album, but unlike you two, Samson isn't one of my fave songs on it (something about the high pitched vocals...). There's actually a few songs on it that I don't like, but the ones i do like, I like a lot. And Regina herself is very lovely and engaging and quirky.

Nice shote FL! The smoke has certainly thrown some wild cards into the sunsets of late.

Thank you DB. Don't think there was a smake factor with this one. Just standard cloudage. But yes, there has been an upside to the smoke, although it feels very wrong to say that.
