One of the pairs of ducks I see beside the river has produced a clutch of fluffy ducklings. Ducklings! I first saw them yesterday, but didn't have time to stop for a photo. I saw them again today and was still in a rush, but I stopped anyway.
They were all busily foraging for insects in the grass beside the path. The ducklings might be teeny-weeny, but they've got food foraging mastered already.

bums up as mum and dad supervise
As I was taking my photos, a guy rode past on a bike and then doubled back, parked his bike and took photos of the duck family. I love that even grown men can't resist the cuteness of ducklings.
